    Likhega India Mission 2.0

Mumbai: India Authors Academy will launch Likhega India Mission 2.0 on October 31, with over 1,400 participants already registered, according to the organisers.

The academy was founded by Sweta Samota, an author and book coach, and entrepreneur Manish Samota.

Likhega India Mission 2.0 is a structured 45-day writing and publishing programme for aspiring authors. It covers 9 missions on book ideation, outlining, writing, editing and publishing.

The organisers plan a world record attempt to publish 5,000 books in 24 hours on December 13, 2026, as part of Likhega India Mission 2.0.

Sweta and Manish Samota, Co-founders of India Authors Academy, said: “India has millions of untold stories, yet many aspiring authors lack the guidance or resources to begin.”

On Likhega India Mission, they said: “Through Likhega India Mission, we aim to make authorship accessible to all and empower one million Indians to become published authors.”

Likhega India Mission 2.0 follows a first edition in December 2025 that saw 773 eBooks published in 24 hours

The release says the 773-eBook result from the first edition was recognised by the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records. Likhega India Mission 2.0 is the second edition of the programme.

The founders added: “Our vision goes beyond a world record to building a nation of authors and establishing India as the Author Capital of the World.”

India Authors Academy has a community of over 8,000 members.

Registrations for Likhega India Mission 2.0 are open on the Likhega India website.
