Mumbai: Shree Refrigerations Limited (SRL), one of India’s leading defence-focused manufacturers of refrigeration and HVAC systems, has extended CSR support to strengthen educational infrastructure and promote technology-enabled learning for students in Karad and Devrukh in Maharashtra.
The initiatives supported by Shree Refrigerations focus on creating modern learning opportunities and providing students with exposure to robotics, artificial intelligence, space science, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and other hands-on, technology-based learning activities.
As part of the first initiative, Shree Refrigerations extended CSR support to Janakalyan Pratishthan’s Saraswati Educational Campus in Karad to help establish a more modern and technology-enabled learning environment for students.
With the CSR support, the institute’s ICT Lab has been upgraded with more than 35 modern computers running Windows 11, providing students with greater access to digital learning and technology.
The campus has also been equipped with 15 Smart Classrooms featuring Interactive Panel Boards and Learning Management Systems. These facilities allow teachers to use multimedia and interactive content as part of everyday classroom learning.
The initiative supported by Shree Refrigerations has also provided campus-wide Wi-Fi, helping facilitate digital education and access to online learning platforms.

Shree Refrigerations Supports STEM and Technology Learning in Devrukh
The company has also extended CSR support to Srujan Science Centre, established by the Devrukh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (DSPM) at Devrukh in Ratnagiri district.
The initiative by Shree Refrigerations is aimed at strengthening the Centre’s educational capabilities and creating greater opportunities for students to engage with STEM, robotics, artificial intelligence, electronics, 3D printing, space science and hands-on experimentation.
The initiative holds particular significance as the Centre serves students from rural and economically disadvantaged communities, where access to advanced educational facilities can often be limited.
By bringing these learning experiences closer to students in Konkan, Shree Refrigerations is supporting opportunities that connect traditional classroom education with practical skills increasingly required in higher education and future careers.
The CSR initiatives in Karad and Devrukh are focused on expanding students’ access to digital infrastructure, modern classrooms and technology-based learning experiences.
