Mumbai: Raymond has announced the appointment of Salil Bawa as Group Head, Investor Relations for Raymond Group, where he will lead investor engagement and capital-markets strategy across the group’s listed entities. He will be on the rolls of Raymond Realty Limited.
Salil Bawa is a Chartered Financial Analyst with more than 25 years of experience in corporate development and investor relations. He joins Raymond from the LNJ Bhilwara Group, where he led group corporate development and investor relations.
During his career, Salil Bawa has served as a principal interface between management, global institutional investors and the analyst community across demergers, initial public offerings (IPOs), qualified institutional placements (QIPs) and strategic capital raises.
He has built and led investor relations functions across several of India’s leading listed groups, including the Welspun Group.

With his experience across investor relations and capital markets, Salil Bawa brings established relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and long-only institutional investors globally.
He also has a track record of expanding analyst coverage, improving the quality of institutional ownership and strengthening market perception.
At the Welspun Group, Salil Bawa tripled institutional ownership within approximately 18 months through focused investor targeting and global roadshows across the US, Europe and Asia.
Salil Bawa has also received the Best Investor Relations Officer recognition, which was awarded based on a global fund-manager poll.
In his new role at Raymond Group, Salil will lead investor engagement and capital-markets strategy across the group’s listed entities.
