Noida: InstaAstro, a digital spiritual wellness platform, has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the founders.
The funding comes as InstaAstro crosses ₹200 crore ($21 million) in annualized revenue, five years after launching as a single-service astrology consultation app.
The company said its revenue run-rate has now crossed ₹200 crore ($21 million) a year, while its annual revenue more than doubled from ₹52 crore ($5.47 million) in FY25 to ₹111.26 crore ($11.71 million) in FY26.
Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro has expanded from an astrology consultation app into a full-stack spiritual wellness platform serving users across 183 countries.
The platform currently has 12 million registered users and more than 5,000 verified experts across astrology, tarot, numerology, vastu and related disciplines.
InstaAstro Revenue More Than Doubles in One Year
InstaAstro’s annual revenue increased from ₹52 crore ($5.47 million) in FY25 to ₹111.26 crore ($11.71 million) in FY26, representing more than a doubling in one year.
Its revenue run-rate has subsequently exceeded ₹200 crore ($21 million) annually, five years after its launch.
The company’s registered user base has grown by roughly 400% over the past two years to reach 12 million.
At the same time, its expert network has expanded to more than 5,000 verified experts, compared with roughly 1,500 astrologers at the time of its previous funding round.
The platform now offers services across astrology, tarot, numerology and vastu, alongside consultations, Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce.
InstaAstro Expands Across 183 Countries
International markets, driven largely by the Indian diaspora, contribute approximately 25% of InstaAstro’s revenue, according to the company.
Within India, most of the platform’s users are located in Tier I cities.
However, Tier II and Tier III markets are the fastest-growing segments, supported by increasing smartphone penetration and digital payment adoption.
This growth has helped InstaAstro bring spiritual-advisory behaviour that was previously largely offline onto an organised digital platform.
The company said it has evolved into a broader spiritual wellness platform serving customers across 183 countries, with more than 5,000 verified experts spanning multiple disciplines.

India’s Astrology App Market Sees Strong Growth
The broader category has also witnessed increased funding and market expansion in recent years.
India’s astrology app market was valued at $163 million in 2024 and is projected to reach $1.8 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 49.19%, according to MarkNtel Advisors.
This market sits within India’s religious and spiritual market, which was estimated at $58.6 billion in 2023 and is growing at about 10% annually, according to Inc42.
Venture funding into India’s astrology apps increased from around $88,000 in 2015 to approximately $50 million in 2024. India is also home to more than 1,400 religion-tech startups, according to Tracxn.
Against this backdrop, InstaAstro has focused on building a platform around verified experts and organised spiritual services.
Nitin Verma on InstaAstro’s Series A Funding
“We’re committed to building the world’s most trusted spiritual platform by prioritizing quality over quantity,” said Nitin Verma, Founder and CEO, InstaAstro.
“This investment will help us strengthen our leadership in trusted astrology services, expand across regional and international markets, and accelerate our online Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce offerings.”
The company said a significant share of the newly raised capital will be used for AI-led product development.
This includes sentiment analysis designed to help astrologers provide more contextual consultations and multilingual support aimed at improving consultation quality across languages.
InstaAstro will also use the funding to expand its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce businesses.
Artha Venture Fund on InstaAstro’s Growth Strategy
Artha Venture Fund, which first backed InstaAstro in its 2021 seed round, also participated in the Series A round and has written its largest cheque in the company in this round.
“Nitin had every chance to buy growth here. Download, discount, churn, repeat. He refused,” said Anirudh A. Damani, Managing Partner, Artha Venture Fund, which first backed InstaAstro in its 2021 seed round and has written its largest cheque in the company in this round.
“He spent 5 years on the unglamorous part: verified astrologers, quality scores, a reason to come back. The first consultation is marketing. The second one is a business.”
The investment marks another stage in InstaAstro’s expansion from a single-service astrology consultation platform into a broader faith-tech business.
InstaAstro Plans Wider Faith-Tech Platform
Over the longer term, InstaAstro plans to build a faith-tech platform covering each stage of a user’s spiritual journey, from consultation and ritual to discovery and commerce.
The company’s current offerings include consultations across astrology, tarot, numerology and vastu, as well as Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce.
Its focus on AI-led product development, multilingual support and expansion across regional and international markets is expected to support the next phase of its platform development.
With 12 million registered users, more than 5,000 verified experts and operations spanning 183 countries, InstaAstro is now positioning itself as a full-stack digital spiritual wellness platform, five years after starting as an astrology consultation app.
