Delhi: The Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 concluded successfully on June 12 at the Constitution Club of India in Connaught Place, bringing together industry leaders, educators, and aspiring creators to strengthen India’s creative talent ecosystem.

Organised by Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity (MAAC), the Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 was designed around the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Creators”, providing practical industry insights and mentorship to more than 600 students and creative technology enthusiasts from Delhi NCR.

The Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 focused on addressing the evolving talent requirements across Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Gaming, Comics, Extended Reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital content creation sectors.

As AI becomes increasingly integrated into creative production workflows, the event aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations through expert-led discussions, keynote sessions, product launches, and student recognition.

MAAC, with a legacy spanning over 25 years in training professionals across animation, VFX, gaming, digital content creation, and design, used the Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 as a platform to demonstrate how localized and industry-aligned education can create future-ready professionals for India’s expanding AVGC ecosystem.

Dr. Kiran Bedi PPMMG PNBB attended the event as the special chief guest, inspiring aspiring creators and students with her presence.

The occasion was also graced by Abir Aich, Executive Vice President, Emerging Technologies at Aptech Limited, and Ashish Kulkarni, Founder of Punnaryug Art Vision, alongside several other distinguished guests.

Speaking at the Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026, Sandip Weling, Chief Business Officer, Aptech Limited and Brand Custodian, MAAC, said: “The AVGC sector is witnessing strong growth, driven by the rising demand for high-quality digital content across films, gaming, advertising, and immersive platforms.

To further this vision, we are delighted to introduce Creator X and Career X -innovative, industry-led dual pathways designed to help students monetise their skills through employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. While Career X focuses on enhancing industry readiness and career opportunities, Creator X empowers aspiring creators to become entrepreneurs by building multi-platform content ventures.

These initiatives will enable learners to gain exposure to evolving technologies, global production standards, real-world workflows, and meaningful networking opportunities, helping them transition seamlessly into professional & business environments within the dynamic AVGC ecosystem.”

The Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 also marked the unveiling of two new academic pathways – Career X and Creator X – designed to bridge the divide between academia and industry while preparing students for employment and entrepreneurial opportunities within the creative economy.

Madhav Sharma, Business Partner and Centre Director of MAAC Kamla Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Kalkaji, said: “Delhi NCR has always had a massive talent hub for the creative industry, with thousands of ambitious students looking for career pathways in animation, VFX, digital content creation, and gaming.

By bringing Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026, we are actively delivering world-class studio training, direct industry insights, the necessary tools, advanced labs, and professional mentorship to our local student community.”

Attendees received an exclusive behind-the-scenes preview titled “Deadpool & Wolverine – The Art of Blood and Guts”, presented by Prashant Nair, offering insights into professional visual effects production and creative execution.

Canon India also presented a session titled “From Creator to Collaborator: How Big Brands Hire Creative Talent,” providing participants with valuable perspectives on how leading brands identify, recruit, and collaborate with creative professionals.

By combining expert mentorship, practical learning, networking opportunities, and the launch of innovative academic pathways, the Delhi AVGC XR and AI Summit 2026 reinforced MAAC’s commitment to developing the next generation of professionals for India’s rapidly expanding AVGC and AI-driven creative industries.
