New Delhi: The UIDAI MapmyIndia partnership is set to enhance citizen convenience by enabling the display of authorised Aadhaar Centres on the Mappls App in the coming months.
The initiative, announced by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), aims to help residents easily locate nearby authorised Aadhaar Centres and access information on available services.
Under the UIDAI–MapmyIndia Partnership, users will be able to identify Aadhaar Centres based on the type of services offered, including adult enrolment, child enrolment, and updates such as address or mobile number changes.
This move is expected to streamline access and reduce confusion around unauthorised service providers.
The collaboration between UIDAI and MapmyIndia is designed to enhance public convenience, combat misinformation, and ensure seamless access to Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) and other authorised Aadhaar Centres across the country.

“UIDAI is always driven by resident centricity. This kind of collaboration will allow digital mapping of verified Aadhaar Centres across India and help people find the authorised Aadhaar centres easily,” said Bhuvnesh Kumar, CEO, UIDAI.
As part of the UIDAI MapmyIndia Partnership, MapmyIndia will integrate UIDAI-provided Aadhaar Centre data into the Mappls platform. This integration will ensure accurate representation, digital mapping, and distinct listing of authorised Aadhaar Centres, improving reliability for users searching within the app.
Once rolled out over the next couple of months, the UIDAI MapmyIndia Partnership will ensure that users searching for Aadhaar-related services on the Mappls App are directed only to verified and authorised centres, thereby strengthening trust and accessibility.
“It is a privilege to serve UIDAI and enable people with easy access to Aadhaar Centres, through the Mappls App,” said Rakesh Verma, Co-founder and CMD, MapmyIndia.
