STI Policy Research: Science City of Andhra Pradesh Signs MoU with CSIR-NIScPR

New Delhi: The Science City of Andhra Pradesh has entered into a strategic collaboration with the CSIR–National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) to strengthen science communication and advance research in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policy.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CSIR-NIScPR and the Science City of Andhra Pradesh aims to promote evidence-based policymaking, enhance public understanding of science, and build a robust scientific ecosystem through joint initiatives.

Under this partnership, the Science City of Andhra Pradesh will work closely with CSIR-NIScPR to drive collaborative research, training programmes, and outreach activities focused on science communication and STI policy.

The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between science, policy, and society while fostering innovation-driven growth in Andhra Pradesh.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Geetha Vani Rayasam, Director, CSIR-NIScPR, and Sri Venkateswarlu Kesineni, CEO, Science City of Andhra Pradesh, in the presence of M.T. Krishna Babu, Special Chief Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, along with senior officials from both institutions.

Representing NIScPR, Dr. Yogesh Suman, Chief Scientist, and Dr. N.K. Prasanna, Principal Scientist, will serve as nodal officers to implement the initiatives under the agreement with the Science City of Andhra Pradesh.
