Oasis Fertility Janani Yatra Reaches Pune, Offering Free Consultations and Fertility Tests

Janani Yatra by Oasis Fertility

Pune: Oasis Fertility has extended its nationwide fertility awareness initiative, Janani Yatra, to Pune, Maharashtra, following its successful outreach across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

The Janani Yatra is designed to bring fertility awareness, expert-led guidance, and early diagnostic screening directly to communities across Tier I, II, and III regions, enabling informed conversations around reproductive health and future family planning.

The launch of the Janani Yatra in Pune featured a Walkathon for Parenthood, aimed at raising awareness about infertility, the importance of early fertility screening, and long-term reproductive health.

The initiative also underscored the need to empower the girl child through timely education and awareness, encouraging informed decision-making around fertility and overall reproductive wellbeing.

The walkathon witnessed participation from students, families, healthcare professionals, and members of the local community.

The event was graced by Chief Guests Dr Kiran Kurtkoti, President, AMOGS; Dr. Manish Machave, President, POGS; and Mohan Tiloo, President, Rotary Club of Pune Sanskruti.

The dignitaries acknowledged Oasis Fertility’s efforts in bringing essential reproductive health education closer to families and strengthening community-level awareness.

Janani Yatra Brings Free Consultations and Fertility Screening to Communities

As fertility challenges continue to rise due to lifestyle changes, delayed parenthood, and limited access to scientific information, the Janani Yatra bus offers free fertility consultations, free AMH and haemoglobin tests, free semen analysis, and safe, hygienic sample collection zones.

This approach ensures that couples receive early, accurate, and compassionate medical guidance closer to home.

Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Dr Kiran Kurtkoti said, “The Janani Yatra plays a crucial role in raising awareness about reproductive health issues, giving people the opportunity to understand their fertility status regardless of socioeconomic background.

After reaching communities across four states, the initiative’s arrival in Maharashtra is timely, and I hope it continues to benefit many more families.”

Dr Durga G Rao, Medical Director and Co-founder, Oasis Fertility, stated, “After a successful journey across South India, the Janani Yatra is now bringing advanced, evidence-based reproductive care to the heart of Maharashtra.

This outreach is especially important in the context of declining total fertility rates, as early medical guidance can significantly support couples on their path to parenthood.”

Pushkaraj Shenai, CEO, Oasis Fertility, added, “With India’s fertility rate continuing to decline, accessible and timely reproductive care is the need of the hour.

Through the Janani Yatra, we are extending expert counselling, early diagnostics, and guided support at the grassroots level to help aspiring parents make informed medical decisions.”

Dr Nilesh Unmesh Balkawade, Regional Medical Head – India West, Oasis Fertility, noted, “The strong response to the Janani Yatra highlights the importance couples place on correct medical guidance.

By taking timely information and compassionate care directly to communities, we aim to address persistent gaps in fertility awareness. Conducting the Janani Yatra around National Girl Child Day further reinforces our commitment to strengthening women’s healthcare at the grassroots.”
