UST Invests in Kaynes Semicon to Build INR 3330 Crore Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility in India

Bengaluru: UST, a global leader in AI and technology transformation solutions, has entered into a strategic investment partnership with Kaynes Semicon, an Indian semiconductor manufacturer.

The collaboration aims to establish a Rs 3,330 crore joint venture focused on semiconductor assembly, testing, and advanced electronics manufacturing, reinforcing India’s position as a global semiconductor hub.

Aligned with the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the UST-Kaynes Semicon partnership seeks to deliver high-quality semiconductor solutions for Electric Vehicles (EVs), renewables, and consumer technology sectors.

The joint venture will leverage UST’s expertise in digital engineering, AI-driven process optimization, and real-time data analytics, combined with Kaynes Semicon’s established manufacturing capabilities, to ensure scale, efficiency, and reliability in semiconductor production.

UST – Kaynes Semicon to Develop OSAT Facility

As part of this strategic collaboration, the companies plan to develop a state-of-the-art OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) facility in Sanand, Gujarat.

OSAT is an emerging segment in India’s semiconductor ecosystem, and the facility is expected to set new benchmarks for semiconductor assembly, testing, and innovation.
