Surat: Rocket, the AI-powered application development platform, announced today that it has secured $15 million in seed funding.
The funding round was led by Salesforce Ventures and Accel, with participation from Together Fund, and will be used to advance research and development, scale product innovation, and expand the company’s global presence, including the establishment of a new headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
Founded in Surat by Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak, the company has quickly positioned itself as a global leader in AI-driven application building.

Unlike traditional AI tools that generate code snippets or static mockups, Rocket allows users to transform ideas into fully functional, multi-page, production-ready applications in minutes.
Since its launch just four months ago, Rocket has achieved:
- 400,000+ users across 180 countries, with the U.S. leading adoption.
- 500,000+ production-ready applications built, with thousands added daily.
- Strong adoption across startups, agencies, and enterprises, including Fortune 100 teams.

Rocket: Future Growth and Hiring Plans
Rocket currently employs 60 team members across Surat and Palo Alto and plans to double its engineering and product teams in India over the next 12–15 months to support its rapid growth and global expansion.
