    Waaree Energies

Mumbai: Waaree Energies Limited has retained its position as the No.1 solar module supplier in India for the April–June 2025 quarter.

As per the JMK Research & Analytics Q2 2025 Solar Report, Waaree secured a 14% market share in H1 FY2025, reinforcing its pivotal role in advancing India’s clean energy transition.

India added 4.2 GW of utility-scale solar capacity and 1.3 GW of rooftop solar installations in the April–June 2025 quarter, bringing the country’s cumulative installed solar capacity to 91 GW.

With over 70 GW of projects currently under development, India is on track to achieve its ambitious 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030.

Waaree Energies: Leadership in Solar Manufacturing

Speaking on the recognition, Dr Amit Paithankar, Whole-time Director & CEO of Waaree Energies Limited, said, “This recognition by JMK Research reaffirms Waaree’s leadership at a time when India’s renewable ambitions are accelerating. Our success is not just about shipment volumes—it reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and building India’s solar self-reliance.”

With a global solar module manufacturing capacity of ~16.7 GW and domestic solar cell capacity of 5.4 GW, Waaree is driving India’s solar manufacturing renaissance under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative. Its advanced facilities produce high-efficiency modules and cells that serve both domestic and international demand.

Waaree’s growing international presence further strengthens its leadership. Notable global orders, such as 452 MW in the U.S., underline the trust placed in Indian solar manufacturing and highlight Waaree’s role in global renewable supply chains.

    Positioned for Future Growth

With India projected to add 30 GW of solar capacity in FY2026, Waaree Energies is strategically positioned to scale alongside sectoral growth. The company’s focus on advanced technology adoption, quality systems, and customer-centric solutions ensures it remains the preferred partner for developers, EPC contractors, and utilities worldwide.
