Startup India Launches Together 6.0 for Student Entrepreneurs in October 2025

Together 6.0 – Entrepreneurial Bootcamp and Pitch Competition has officially opened applications for student entrepreneurs in India.

The initiative, led by Startup India and DPIIT in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Toronto, Schulich School of Business at York University, Canada, and Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation, aims to empower student-led ventures that focus on Self-Reliability, Sustainability, and Social Purpose.

Together 6.0: A Platform for Self-Reliability, Sustainability & Social Purpose

Scheduled to run virtually from October 21–27, 2025, Together 6.0 invites university students and recent graduates (within 3 years) to transform innovative ideas into impactful ventures.

The program emphasizes themes including e-Mobility, Environment & Energy, Healthcare, FinTech & Income Security, Food & Agriculture, Telecom, Textiles, and Education.

Together Mission: Indo-Canada Collaboration for Entrepreneurs

Now in its sixth year, the Together Mission has established itself as a cross-border initiative fostering entrepreneurial talent. Over the past editions, it has supported more than 1,500 student entrepreneurs across India and awarded over $200,000 in cash, training, and venture prizes.

Incentives & Global Mentorship at Together 6.0

Participants in Together 6.0 stand a chance to win up to CAD $15,000 (~₹9.5 lakh) in prize money. Non-financial incentives include:

  • Global mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs and founders.
  • Access to Schulich MBA consultants during the bootcamp.
  • Exposure to investors and venture capitalists in both India and Canada.
  • Networking opportunities with more than 100 entrepreneurial leaders.

Interested participants must apply by 15th September 2025 via the official event portal: www.schulich.yorku.ca/together.

Eligibility requirements specify that at least one founder must be a current university student or a recent graduate (within 3 years). High school students, PhD students, and PhD alumni are not eligible.

Together 6.0 provides student innovators with the opportunity to pitch transformative ideas, receive guidance from global mentors, and gain international visibility. The initiative continues its mission of empowering the next generation of Indian entrepreneurs while fostering Indo-Canada collaboration.
