New Delhi: Rassense Private Limited, a contract food services company, has announced the appointment of Swarna Rajamani as Chief Business Officer.
In this strategic role, Rajamani will lead Rassense’s enterprise-wide growth plans, focusing on people and technology as the two primary pillars shaping the company’s future.
Swarna Rajamani Takes on Key Leadership Role at Rassense
Along with her new role, Swarna Rajamani will continue as a board member of Rassense, becoming one of the youngest and first female board members in the professionally managed contract food services sector in India.

She was instrumental in the reconstitution of CRCL LLP into Rassense Private Limited through a fundraise with Spark Capital AIF, a landmark deal that brought the first Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) investment into India’s contract food services industry.
Rajamani’s professional journey includes more than eight years with Shell and over a decade in leadership roles at multinational corporations such as Lornamead, Foster Wheeler, and RR Donnelley. Her diverse background in supply chain, HR, strategy, M&A, and QHSE equips her to play a pivotal role in shaping Rassense’s next phase of growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Sanjay Kumar, MD & CEO of Rassense Pvt. Ltd., said: “Swarna has handled a wide variety of roles across CRCL and Rassense, including supply chain, QHSE, HR, M&A, and strategy. This diverse experience equips her to take Rassense forward as its Chief Business Officer.”
