Pune: AI-powered wearable technology startup Glovatrix has been declared the winner of the Pune Chapter Finals of the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2025.
The company, which enables the deaf and speech-impaired to communicate in real time by translating sign language into speech, will represent Pune in the global finale at the TiE Global Summit 2026 in Jaipur. The global winner will secure an equity-free cash prize of USD 50,000.
The TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2025 is an initiative by TiE Global, a Silicon Valley-based non-profit incubator with nearly 30 chapters in India, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship worldwide.

The Pune edition highlighted innovation and resilience among women-led ventures, bringing together nine promising startups from diverse sectors.
Glovatrix Leads Pune Finals of TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2025
Glovatrix, co-founded by Aishwarya Karnataki, stood out for its groundbreaking wearable AI solution that bridges communication gaps for the hearing and speech-impaired. Karnataki will represent the Pune Chapter in the global finale, competing against winners from other regions.

Startups were judged on parameters such as idea viability, team strength, competitive edge, product-market fit, financial strategy, and scalability potential.
