Expansion of Global Gemini Experience Center Network
The Troy facility represents a significant milestone in the global expansion of the Gemini Experience Center network led by TCS and Google Cloud.
By the end of 2026, the companies plan to operate 13 Gemini Experience Center locations worldwide, with six additional centers expected to launch during the year.
As artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across industries, the Gemini Experience Center network will play a key role in helping enterprises move beyond limited AI experiments toward scalable, production-ready transformation programs.
The centers are designed to help organizations test real-world AI use cases and deploy solutions at scale.
Physical AI Innovation for Manufacturing
The Gemini Experience Center in Troy focuses on advancing Physical AI applications for the manufacturing sector. Through this initiative, manufacturers will be able to explore, test, and scale AI-driven use cases aimed at improving safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
At the core of the Gemini Experience Center is the TCS Physical AI Blueprint, an end-to-end framework that integrates AI-powered quadruped and humanoid robotics with advanced sensing technologies, edge intelligence, and secure cloud orchestration.
This framework enables real-time operational insights and autonomous decision support across industrial environments. Key use cases demonstrated at the Gemini Experience Center include:
- Autonomous patrolling and surveillance
- Environmental anomaly detection
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance monitoring
- Intelligent quality inspection
- Progress mapping
- Predictive equipment health monitoring
These capabilities are designed to help manufacturers implement Physical AI solutions that enhance shopfloor visibility and operational performance.
Anupam Singhal, President – Manufacturing at Tata Consultancy Services, said: “Physical AI is where intelligence moves to the edge – into the real world of operations. With the launch of our Physical AI Gemini Experience Center for Manufacturing, we are enabling manufacturers to extend visibility and decision-making into environments that are difficult, risky, or inefficient for humans to access.
Designed with a human-in-the-loop approach, Physical AI operates alongside the workforce, strengthening safety and resilience. The real impact is creating future-ready industrial environments that are safer, more adaptive, and continuously aware – at scale.”
Saurabh Tiwary, VP and General Manager, Cloud AI at Google Cloud, added: “Our partnership with TCS focuses on accelerating the deployment of agentic AI where it delivers the most significant value to industrial operations.
Through the new Physical AI Gemini Experience Center, we are equipping global manufacturers with the intelligence to build more autonomous, resilient, and data-driven enterprises, allowing them to fully optimize their business models with Google Cloud’s leading technology.”
