Nashik: Serigen Mediproducts, a leading biotech innovator in tissue regeneration, has clinched the first prize at Health PITCH’25, hosted by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) under its flagship DISHA program — India’s first state-led network of Centres of Excellence in Digital Health.
Out of a competitive field of healthcare startups and innovators, Serigen Mediproducts stood out for its pioneering use of silk protein technology in bone repair, wound healing, and soft tissue regeneration. The company is led by CEO Dr. Anuya Nisal, who presented the pitch to a distinguished jury including Lt. Gen. (Retd) Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar, Vice Chancellor of MUHS and former Dean of AFMC.
Held at Charak Hall, the event marked the culmination of the DISHA cohort — a Shark Tank-style platform for early-stage medical innovations. The final program featured five startup pitches. Serigen Mediproducts was declared the top winner among them.
