Sarvam Startup Program Launched to Support AI Builders with Credits, APIs, and Infrastructure

Sarvam Startup Program

The Sarvam Startup Program has been officially launched to empower AI builders and accelerate innovation within the startup ecosystem.

With artificial intelligence emerging as a defining era for technology creators, the Sarvam Startup Program aims to provide startups with high-quality AI models, infrastructure, and developer tools to help them build and scale AI-powered products with greater autonomy.

Announcing the launch, the initiative highlighted the growing momentum around AI-driven innovation and the need to support startups with accessible, production-ready resources.

Through the Sarvam Startup Program, startups will receive a combination of API credits, technical support, and infrastructure designed specifically to help them focus on building AI applications without operational barriers.

The program has been designed to support startups working on speech, language, and large language model (LLM) applications while enabling them to leverage enterprise-grade infrastructure and multilingual AI capabilities.

The Sarvam Startup Program is structured to help startups deploy AI solutions quickly by providing production-ready APIs and developer-friendly resources.

Infrastructure Designed for AI Product Development

Through the Sarvam Startup Program, startups can access tools built to support real-world production workloads and enterprise-grade deployments.

Key features available under the program include:

  • Speech to Text: Real-time speech recognition for voice-enabled applications.
  • Text to Speech: AI-powered voice generation to support conversational interfaces and digital assistants.
  • Chat Completion: LLM-powered conversational capabilities for chatbots, assistants, and enterprise applications.
  • Text Processing: Natural language processing capabilities for content analysis and automation.
  • Document Intelligence: AI-driven extraction and analysis of data from documents.
  • The Sarvam Startup Program also focuses on making AI technology accessible to India’s multilingual ecosystem.

Optimized for Indian Languages

A key feature of the Sarvam Startup Program is its strong emphasis on Indian language support. The platform offers native support for code-switching and more than 22 Indian languages along with English, enabling developers to build AI applications that can reach users across diverse linguistic regions.

This multilingual capability is designed to support use cases across sectors including customer support automation, voice assistants, education technology, and digital services.

Developer-First APIs and Enterprise Reliability

The Sarvam Startup Program also emphasizes developer experience and reliability. Startups will have access to clean, well-documented APIs, software development kits (SDKs), playground environments, and quick-start guides to speed up product development.

The infrastructure powering the Sarvam Startup Program is designed with high availability and enterprise-grade service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure reliability for mission-critical applications.

Scalable Voice Agents and Real-Time Streaming

Another capability offered through the Sarvam Startup Program includes scalable voice agents that enable conversational AI systems capable of handling thousands of concurrent sessions.

The program also includes low-latency streaming infrastructure, allowing startups to deploy real-time speech-to-text and text-to-speech streaming systems optimized for production environments.

Sarvam Startup Program Benefits and Launch Support

Beyond infrastructure and technical resources, the Sarvam Startup Program also provides strategic visibility for participating startups.

Key offerings include:

  • API Credits: 6–12 months of credits tailored to the startup’s scale
  • Production APIs: Access to speech, voice agents, and multilingual AI models
  • Priority Support: Direct engineering support from the Sarvam team
  • Launch Visibility: Co-branded case studies and promotional amplification when products launch

The Sarvam Startup Program aims to enable startups to move from development to production faster by offering both technical infrastructure and ecosystem visibility.

Credit Allocation and Program Structure

Credit allocation under the Sarvam Startup Program depends on several factors including the startup’s use case, stage of development, and expected scale. Approved startups receive 6 to 12 months of API credits tailored to their requirements.

Credits remain valid for the duration of the program term and do not roll over once the program ends.

Startups that are already using Sarvam APIs can also apply to the Sarvam Startup Program to receive additional credits and priority engineering support.

Transition After Program Completion

Once the credit period concludes, startups will transition to standard API pricing. The Sarvam team will work with participating companies to establish pricing plans aligned with their usage patterns and scaling needs.

As part of the ecosystem initiative, startups participating in the Sarvam Startup Program are expected to display “Powered by SarvamAI” branding within their products, helping strengthen visibility for the platform and build a broader AI innovation ecosystem.
