Refold AI Secures USD 6.5M to Replace Costly Enterprise Integration with AI Agents

Refold AI Team

San Mateo, California: Refold AI, an enterprise integration platform built on AI-native infrastructure, has emerged from stealth mode with $6.5 million in seed funding to end the costly “integration tax” businesses pay to ensure APIs work seamlessly.

The company aims to replace manual, consultant-driven integration processes with autonomous AI agents that transform complex API workflows into repeatable, productized software.

The seed round was led by Eniac Ventures and Tidal Ventures, with participation from Better Capital, Ahead VC, Karman Ventures, Z21, and other angel investors.

The funding will accelerate the expansion of Refold AI’s engineering team, enhance product integrations, and support a growing base of enterprise customers.

Founded by the team behind JustDoc (acquired by Reliance), Refold AI was created to solve the persistent inefficiencies of API integrations in large-scale enterprise environments. “Integrations are repeatable and cumbersome — they shouldn’t require human intervention,” said Jugal Anchalia, Co-founder and CEO of Refold AI.

Currently serving over 30 enterprise customers, including Incorta and Naehas, the company has doubled its user base in two months. The platform supports more than 1,500 active users, processes over 30 million API calls per month, and has achieved seven-figure ARR.

Refold AI: AI-Native Infrastructure for Enterprise Integrations

Refold AI replaces traditional middleware and consultant-heavy solutions with autonomous agents – small AI programs that learn system interactions, generate and maintain integration code, and adapt automatically to changes.

This approach has been used successfully for ERP-to-CRM synchronization, finance automation, and supply chain management, reducing integration timelines from months to days.

Three-Layered Architecture

  • Workflow Code Agents: Used by engineering teams to generate, test, and maintain integration logic without boilerplate code.
  • MCP Chains: A natural language interface allowing business teams to describe desired outcomes and have AI agents create functioning workflows.
  • Embedded Integrations Platform: A plug-and-play toolkit for SaaS teams to offer native integrations with prebuilt UI components.

“With Refold AI, edge-case service requests become repeatable software products,” said Abhishek Kumar, Co-founder and CPO. “We’re replacing the consultant economy with agents that learn and scale.”

Market Momentum and Vision

Industry investors see Refold AI as a transformative force. “Enterprise integrations are one of the most valuable use cases in the agentic era,” said Hadley Harris, Founding General Partner at Eniac Ventures. “Refold has rebuilt the stack from the ground up to make integrations seamless and intelligent.”

As enterprises modernize their AI stacks, Refold AI positions itself as the invisible logic layer enabling seamless, autonomous integrations. With offices in San Mateo and Bangalore, the team plans to expand to 30 employees by year-end and further develop its enterprise integration catalog.
