Army Institute of Technology AIT Pune Quantum ML Team has achieved national recognition by securing the First Prize at the Indian Army Terrier Cyber Quest 2025, a prestigious National Cyber Challenge hosted by the Territorial Army in collaboration with CyberPeace.

The AIT Pune Quantum ML Team team emerged victorious in the Datathon track, designed to develop real-time threat prediction and anomaly detection systems for defence applications.

Competing under the theme “Quantum Machine Learning for Threat Detection,” the team’s cutting-edge solution stood out among over 6,300 entries nationwide – including teams from IITs, NITs, IIITs, and top technology professionals.

AIT Pune Quantum ML Team: National Recognition for Excellence in Cyber Defence Innovation

Held at the Warden Center, Delhi Cantonment, the Indian Army Terrier Cyber Quest 2025 was a 36-hour high-intensity hackathon conducted on October 6–7, with the results declared on October 8. The AIT Pune team received a ₹1 lakh prize from Major General S S Patil, Director General of the Territorial Army.

In recognition of their achievement, the team was later felicitated with the Millennial Trophy on October 9 by General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff, during a ceremony at the South Block, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.
