New Delhi: The Government e Marketplace (GeM) has crossed a landmark achievement of ₹15 lakh crore in cumulative Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) since its establishment in 2016, reinforcing its role as a key enabler of transparent and inclusive public procurement in India.

This milestone highlights the widespread trust and participation of buyers and sellers in the Government e Marketplace, which has grown into a robust digital procurement ecosystem over the past nine years.

The platform connects government departments and institutions with a wide range of sellers, including Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), startups, women entrepreneurs, SC/ST businesses, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
