Chennai / Pune: In a major achievement underscoring a decade of Indo-German manufacturing excellence, Force Motors, in collaboration with BMW Group India, announced the successful roll-out of its 100,000th engine from its dedicated assembly facility in Chennai.
The landmark engine powers a BMW X5, symbolizing the partnership’s unwavering commitment to high-performance, precision engineering, and India’s Make in India vision.

The Chennai facility, operational since 2015, was set up exclusively to supply engines for BMW’s locally manufactured vehicle portfolio.
Featuring state-of-the-art automation, stringent quality systems, and a highly skilled workforce, the plant has emerged as a vital cog in BMW’s localization and production ecosystem in India.

Senior leadership from both companies attended the commemorative event, including Marcus Wollens, Vice President, BMW Production Network 2, BMW AG; Thomas Dose, Managing Director, BMW Group Plant Chennai; and Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Force Motors Ltd.
