CloudSEK Raises USD 19 Million in Series B1 Round Backed by Commvault, Tenacity Ventures

CloudSEK

Bengaluru: CloudSEK, a leading player in AI-powered cyber threat prediction and intelligence, has raised $19 million across its Series A2 and Series B1 funding rounds.

This latest investment marks a significant milestone in the company’s mission to redefine cybersecurity with a proactive and predictive approach, moving beyond reactive threat detection.

The funding round attracted a mix of global investors including MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and strategic investor Commvault.

Existing supporters like the Meeran Family (founders of Eastern Group), StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures also continue to back the company’s long-term vision.

Transforming Cybersecurity with Predictive Intelligence

Founded in 2015 by ethical hacker turned entrepreneur Rahul Sasi, the company has grown into a trusted cybersecurity platform, serving over 250+ enterprises across sectors like banking, healthcare, technology, and the public sector.

Rather than responding to incidents after damage is done, CloudSEK’s predictive threat intelligence platform proactively identifies Initial Attack Vectors (IAVs)—such as leaked credentials, exposed APIs, and compromised vendors—weeks before a breach occurs.

“We built CloudSEK to stop threats before they become news,” said Rahul Sasi, Co-founder & CEO. “Our platform is designed to detect the earliest signs of compromise, enabling enterprises to act swiftly and decisively. This funding validates our mission to make cybersecurity predictive, not forensic.”

CloudSEK: Global Growth with Strong Financial Health

CloudSEK has seen strong traction internationally, with the U.S. emerging as its fastest-growing market. Over 60% of net new revenue now comes from global clients. The company has also maintained positive cash flow, underscoring its operational resilience.

“CloudSEK has tripled its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) over the past 24 months,” noted Kalyan Kumar Vattipalli, VP of Finance. “We’ve outperformed industry benchmarks, and Series B2 is already in motion to welcome new investors and facilitate partial exits for early stakeholders.”

The platform’s impact is reflected in its 4.8-star rating on Gartner Peer Insights, with over 195 reviews, positioning CloudSEK as one of the top-recommended vendors in the cybersecurity space.

“Early visibility into threats is now a business imperative,” said Dr Durga Dube, CISO at a Fortune Global 100 company. “CloudSEK’s platform allows us to take control before attackers do.”

“CloudSEK’s AI-driven model is tailored for the evolving security needs of global enterprises,” added Rohit Razdan, Partner at Tenacity Ventures. “We are proud to support their journey to becoming a global tech leader from India.”

With this fresh infusion of capital and strategic partnerships, CloudSEK is poised to scale its AI capabilities, expand platform integrations, and drive adoption of predictive threat intelligence as a global cybersecurity standard.
