Pune: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) hosted the TCS InQuizitive 2025 Pune Edition at Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall, drawing an enthusiastic participation of 624 students from 48 schools across the city.
The TCS InQuizitive 2025 Pune Edition, part of the nationwide inter-school quiz series for students of classes 8 to 12, showcased the city’s brightest young minds in a thrilling knowledge competition.
After five intense rounds of quizzing, Avaneesh Bharat Nikam and Siddhanth Mantri from City Pride School, Moshi, emerged as champions. Jinansh Shah and Geet Mangalmurti from Mahaveer English Medium School secured the runners-up position in TCS InQuizitive 2025 Pune Edition.
Both teams were applauded for their exceptional performance by guest of honour Dr Sanjay Govind Dhande, Chancellor of Avantika University Ujjain and MIT University Shillong, and Prasad M Shastri, VP and Region Head, TCS Pune.
The TCS InQuizitive 2025 Pune Edition winning team will now represent Pune in the TCS InQuizitive 2025 National Finals, where they will compete against regional champions from other cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Nagpur.

Dr Dhande, a Padmashree recipient, commended the event, stating, “TCS InQuizitive brilliantly tests students in science and technology. Integrating humanities and social sciences can make the challenge even more holistic, preparing young minds for an interdisciplinary future.”
