Bengaluru: Landmark Group has announced significant leadership transitions within its Indian retail operations, effective October 1, 2025. The Group has appointed Sumit Chandna as Chief Executive Officer – Max Fashion India, effective October 1, 2025.

The changes reflect the Group’s focus on strengthening its leadership team and driving sustained growth across its fashion and lifestyle businesses.

As part of the new leadership structure, Shital Mehta, Managing Director of Lifestyle International Pvt. Ltd. (LIPL), has assumed an expanded mandate to lead a broader portfolio of businesses and Group Functions at LIPL.

Over the past eight years, Mehta has successfully guided the growth of Max and Easybuy, spearheading their transformation and positioning both brands for accelerated expansion in India’s competitive fashion retail market.

In alignment with this leadership evolution, Landmark Group has appointed Sumit Chandna as Chief Executive Officer – Max Fashion India, effective October 1, 2025. Chandna, who previously served as Deputy CEO of Max, has played a critical role in enhancing operational excellence and reinforcing Max’s position as one of India’s most trusted value fashion brands.

The Group expressed confidence that under Chandna’s leadership, Max Fashion will continue to deepen its customer engagement, expand its retail footprint, and strengthen its brand presence across India.
