Pune: Blackstone-backed Kolte-Patil Developers Limited has announced significant changes to the Kolte-Patil Developers Leadership and Board structure as part of an organisation-wide transformation.

The restructuring aligns with its renewed growth strategy following deeper integration with Blackstone, which recently increased its involvement in the company.

Board Expansion Strengthens Kolte-Patil Developers Leadership

The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Avani Davda as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent), subject to shareholder approval.

With more than two decades of leadership experience, Davda has been part of senior roles across real estate, hospitality, retail, and consumer sectors. She currently serves as a strategic advisor at Bain Advisory Network and sits on the boards of Emami Ltd and Mahindra Logistics.

Her prior leadership assignments include Tata Starbucks, Tata Consumer Products, The Indian Hotels Company (Taj Hotels), Infiniti Retail (Croma), and Godrej Nature’s Basket. She was featured in Fortune US’s ‘40 Under 40 Leaders’ list in 2013.

The company also reaffirmed its August 2025 appointments of three senior Blackstone executives as Non-Executive, Non-Independent Directors:

  • Tuhin Parikh, Vice Chairman – Real Estate (Asia) and Executive Chairman – Real Estate (India)
  • Asheesh Mohta, Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate (India)
  • Mohit Arora, Managing Director – Real Estate Group (India)

Senior Appointments Reinforce Kolte-Patil Developers Leadership Structure

As part of the Kolte-Patil Developers leadership overhaul, Group CEO Atul Bohra has resigned effective 11 November 2025. The Board has initiated the process to identify a new CEO. Managing Director Rajesh Patil will continue to guide the organisation and oversee business operations during the transition.

Kolte-Patil Developers has appointed Anil Dwivedi as Chief Development Officer. With a 30-year career in real estate and construction, he has overseen the delivery of more than 30 million sq. ft. across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, institutional, industrial, and warehousing segments. Before joining Kolte-Patil, he served as Managing Director – Western India Project Management at Colliers.

The company has also named Vishal Mariya as Group Chief Human Resources Officer. With over 18 years of HR leadership experience, he has previously been associated with KEC International, CEAT Tyres, Raychem RPG, Godrej Properties, and Godrej Consumer Products.

Kolte-Patil Developers Leadership and Blackstone Synergy to Drive Growth

Kolte-Patil stated that its strengthened governance structure combines the promoter group’s execution expertise with Blackstone’s global experience across asset classes. The enhancements are designed to support the company’s long-term growth vision in Pune, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Managing Director Rajesh Patil said the leadership changes reinforce the company’s commitment to building a strong management team and accelerating its next growth phase. He added that Kolte-Patil’s project portfolio and robust financial position create a strong platform for future expansion.

Blackstone’s Asheesh Mohta highlighted that the partnership represents a long-term commitment to India’s real estate sector. He noted that the Board and leadership improvements will allow Kolte-Patil to tap emerging opportunities and strengthen its position in the industry.
