Kavita Kurup Joins Cyient as Chief People Officer to Lead Global HR Strategy

Hyderabad: Cyient Limited, a global intelligent engineering and technology solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Kavita Kurup as its Chief People Officer (CPO).

In her new role, Kavita Kurup will lead the company’s global human resources function from Cyient’s Hyderabad headquarters, driving its people, talent, and cultural agenda across all geographies.

Kavita Kurup brings over 25 years of international leadership experience across organizational strategy, people transformation, and business innovation.

At Cyient, she will be responsible for aligning the company’s talent strategy with its vision for sustainable growth, workforce agility, and innovation.

Prior to joining Cyient, Kavita served at UST, where she led transformative people initiatives across 30+ countries, reshaping global talent strategies, DE&I frameworks, associate experiences, and leadership development programs. Her dynamic, human-centered leadership approach has earned her accolades for talent optimization and organizational impact.

A Harvard Business School alumna, Kavita is also a certified executive coach, organizational development expert, and an independent director on multiple boards.
