Bengaluru: Harrow International School Bengaluru has announced the appointment of Dr Caroline Pascoe as its new Head of School, marking an important leadership addition as the institution continues to expand its academic offerings and global education footprint.
Drawing on the distinguished 452-year heritage of Harrow School in the United Kingdom, Harrow International School Bengaluru has positioned itself as a leading centre for international education in the city.
With the appointment of Dr Caroline Pascoe, the school aims to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, global citizenship, and its distinctive boarding-led community learning ethos.
The institution recently expanded its academic provision from Upper Kindergarten to Grade 12. Today, the school hosts a 60% multicultural boarding community supported by an equally international faculty, reflecting its global outlook.
This environment has enabled Harrow International School Bengaluru to rapidly emerge as a hub for global education in Bengaluru.

The leadership of Caroline Pascoe comes at a time when the school is witnessing strong academic outcomes. In 2025, Grade 12 students secured 83 international university offers, demonstrating the institution’s academic strength and global recognition.
Among the notable achievements, student Ishanavi Jain received GBP 130,000 in scholarships from leading international institutions, highlighting the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence and opportunity.
Dr Caroline Pascoe: Decades of Experience Across Independent and International Schools
Prior to this appointment, Caroline Pascoe served a seven-year tenure as Head of The International School Bangalore, marking a significant leadership chapter in her career.
This appointment represents the fourth headship for Caroline Pascoe, reinforcing her extensive experience in leading globally oriented educational institutions.
Academically, Caroline Pascoe holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from University of Exeter and is a graduate in Microbiology from University of Bristol.
Over the course of her career, Caroline Pascoe has taught Physics and Biology for many years while contributing significantly to academic leadership, curriculum development, and pastoral care across diverse school environments.

Beyond her leadership roles in schools, Caroline Pascoe has also contributed to several educational and boarding institutions. She has served on the HMC Sports Committee, the Institute of Boarding, and the IC3 Presidential Committee in India.
These roles further reflect the broad educational leadership expertise that Caroline Pascoe brings to Harrow International School Bengaluru.
Outside academia, Caroline Pascoe has had a diverse and accomplished background. She was a member of the women’s rowing squad representing Great Britain at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.
Additionally, she has led more than 60 high-altitude climbing expeditions in the Indian Himalayas, experiences that have shaped her leadership philosophy grounded in resilience, wellbeing, and character.
