Mumbai: Black Box (BSE: 500463) (NSE: BBOX), a global digital infrastructure solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Sameer Batra as Chief Business Officer for its Global Systems Integration (GSI) business, covering India and International Markets.
The appointment reinforces Black Box’s strategic focus on expanding its presence across India, ANZ, Asia-Pacific, Japan, and the Middle East & Africa, as enterprises continue to modernize and scale their digital infrastructure.
The international markets are witnessing robust growth driven by increased adoption of AI, cloud technologies, data center expansion, networking and collaboration platforms, and rising cybersecurity requirements.
Black Box is positioned to support this demand through its integrated, end-to-end digital infrastructure solutions.

Sameer Batra to Lead Global Systems Integration International Markets
In his new role, Sameer Batra will lead Black Box’s GSI business across international markets, with a focus on strengthening priority industry verticals and deepening customer and partner relationships.
His mandate includes helping enterprises redefine infrastructure readiness by enabling modernization, scalability, and security of digital environments, while supporting Black Box’s ambition of building a $2 billion run-rate business.
Sameer brings over three decades of experience in the global IT services industry. Prior to joining Black Box, he served as Senior Vice President, Global Growth Office at Tech Mahindra, where he led strategic growth initiatives across multiple geographies.

Earlier in his career, he held several senior leadership roles at IBM, driving growth and customer success across India and the Asia-Pacific region.
