Thiruvananthapuram: Technopark has exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HiLITE Group for setting up Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE, marking the Group’s first IT Park project in the state capital.
The Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE project will be developed on the Phase-3 campus of Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram.
Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE envisages a 5.15 lakh square feet IT Park coming up on 1.88 acres of land within the Technopark campus.
The upcoming IT infrastructure is expected to further strengthen the technology ecosystem in Kerala’s capital city.
The MoU for Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE was exchanged between Shri Sandip Kumar, IAS, CEO of Technopark, and Shri Ajil Muhammed, CEO of HiLITE Group.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Seeram Samabasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala, and Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister.

Senior officials present at the event included Shaiju N Lal, Registrar, Kerala IT Parks; Vipin Kumar S, CFO, Kerala IT Parks; Madhavan Praveen, CTO, Technopark; Vasanth Varada, Deputy Vice President (Marketing & Customer Relationship); Abhilash D S, Assistant Vice President (Administration & Industrial Relations); Mohammed Shafeeq P, CEO, HiLITE Properties; Hanu Shelk, Executive Head, HiLITE Business Park; along with other officials from Technopark.
Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE: Construction to Begin Soon
Highlighting the significance of Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE, Sandip Kumar, IAS, noted that there is huge demand for land space in the capital city.
He stated that the project will mark a new beginning for HiLITE in Thiruvananthapuram and suggested that the Group can also explore opportunities in Phase-4 at Technocity, where land parcels are available for various projects.
The Technopark CEO also extended full support for the timely completion of Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE, reaffirming the IT park’s commitment to facilitating infrastructure growth in the region.
Shri Ajil Muhammed said, “This marks a significant milestone in our mission to develop 50 million square feet across Kerala over the next five years. As the state’s first branded IT Park, this project sets the benchmark for the scale, quality, and vision we are committed to delivering.”

The construction of Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE will commence soon. The proposed facility will feature a basement-plus ground floor structure with 16 floors. The project is expected to be completed within three years.
The IT Park is being developed in association with YOO, an internationally renowned design brand known for its global portfolio of luxury real estate and design-led developments. The collaboration for Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE marks YOO’s first branded IT Park partnership globally.
Once operational, Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE is expected to generate approximately 4,000 direct IT jobs, contributing significantly to Kerala’s expanding technology ecosystem and supporting long-term industry growth in the state capital.
The MoU signing for Yoo Hub Trivandrum by HiLITE comes just days after HiLITE Group announced its vision to develop 50 million square feet across Kerala by 2030, underscoring the Group’s expansion strategy in the state’s infrastructure and technology landscape.
