Chennai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Italy-based ALA Group to jointly explore opportunities in India’s growing Aerospace Defence Supply market, estimated at approximately $28 billion.
The partnership aims to build integrated capabilities in aerospace and defence logistics, procurement, and lifecycle supply chain services across production and aftermarket operations.
The agreement establishes a strategic collaboration framework for the two companies to jointly pursue opportunities in the Aerospace Defence Supply ecosystem, with a particular focus on defence offset programmes.
The collaboration will initially focus on India, with potential expansion into other geographies over time.
Under the proposed collaboration, the companies will deliver integrated services across production and aftermarket lifecycles within the Aerospace Defence Supply sector.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions will leverage its defence and utilities supply chain experience from its United Kingdom operations, along with its strong domestic presence in India.
Its capabilities include procurement, regulatory and licensing expertise, warehousing, logistics infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, and digital supply chain platforms.
TVS SCS will also draw on its aerospace and power systems customer relationships across the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen its position in the Aerospace Defence Supply domain, particularly in aftermarket and in-service supply chains.
Currently, TVS SCS’ aerospace, defence, and utilities operations generate approximately $140 million in annual revenue, largely anchored in defence and utility programmes in the United Kingdom.
Aerospace Defence Supply Market: Scalable and Compliant Value Proposition
ALA Group, which reported revenues of $345 million in 2024, will contribute global domain expertise, technology platforms, and long-standing relationships with international OEMs and operators across Europe, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
This collaboration is expected to create a scalable and compliant value proposition in the Aerospace Defence Supply space in India.

The partnership will explore end-to-end services across the Aerospace Defence Supply value chain, including production support, spare-parts distribution, inventory optimisation, defence-grade logistics solutions, logistics engineering, and MRO support services.
These services aim to support OEMs, MROs, operators, and government stakeholders through resilient and digitally enabled supply chain models.
