Bengaluru: Tejas Networks (BSE: 540595) (NSE: TEJASNET) today announced that it has reached a major milestone by cumulatively shipping over 17,000 TJ1400 routers for BharatNet Phase III.
The company’s industry-leading TJ1400 routers are being deployed across 9 states and 5 union territories in India by its PIA (Project Implementation Agency) partners, with live traffic already being carried at multiple locations.
As part of the larger rollout, Tejas Networks will supply nearly 60,000 TJ1400 routers for BharatNet Phase III. These TJ1400 routers will be deployed across more than 55,000 Gram Panchayats (GPs) and 2,000 Blocks, strengthening digital connectivity infrastructure across rural India.
