Pune: The latest Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers – SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 data highlights robust vehicle sales performance across India, with the Western Zone emerging as the leading region in Passenger Vehicles, Two-wheelers, Three-wheelers, and Commercial Vehicles during the October–December 2025 quarter.

According to the SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 report, a total of 12.76 lakh Passenger Vehicles were sold across the country during the third quarter of FY 2025–26, reflecting strong demand trends in key markets.

Passenger Vehicles: Maharashtra Tops, Western Zone Leads
As per SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26, Passenger Vehicle sales reached 12.76 lakh units nationwide in Q3 (FY 2025–26).
The Western Zone led the segment with 4.21 lakh units sold during the quarter, marking it as the highest-performing regional cluster.
Among individual states, Maharashtra recorded the highest Passenger Vehicle sales in the country, with 1.58 lakh units sold in Q3 (FY 2025–26). It was followed by Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu in terms of overall sales volumes.
The SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 data underscores Maharashtra’s continued dominance in the Passenger Vehicle segment, supported by strong urban demand and market depth across major cities.
Two-Wheelers: Uttar Pradesh Records Highest Sales
The SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 report shows that 56.96 lakh Two-Wheelers were sold across India during Q3 (FY 2025–26), making it the highest-volume segment for the quarter.
The Western Zone led regional sales with 19.06 lakh units.
At the state level, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest Two-Wheeler sales in the country, with 8.62 lakh units sold during Q3 (FY 2025–26). Maharashtra ranked second, followed by Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Bihar.
The SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 data indicates sustained demand for Two-Wheelers across both urban and rural markets, with northern and western states contributing significantly to overall volumes.

As per the SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 figures, 2.15 lakh Three-Wheelers were sold nationwide during Q3 (FY 2025–26).
The Western Zone once again led among regions, registering 0.68 lakh units during the quarter.
Gujarat recorded the highest Three-Wheeler sales in the country, with 0.25 lakh units sold in Q3 (FY 2025–26). It was followed by Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Bihar.

SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26: Maharashtra Leads in Commercial Vehicles
According to the SIAM Vehicle Sales Q3 FY26 report, total Commercial Vehicle sales in Q3 (FY 2025–26) stood at 2.90 lakh units nationwide.
The Western Zone led Commercial Vehicle sales with 1.11 lakh units during the quarter.
Maharashtra recorded the highest Commercial Vehicle sales in the country at 0.46 lakh units in Q3 (FY 2025–26). It was followed by Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
