Dallas and Mumbai-based Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, has announced a majority stake acquisition in Dhruva Advisors, creating the Ryan Dhruva Advisors joint venture.

The strategic move significantly enhances Ryan’s ability to serve clients in high-growth regions while reinforcing its global tax services capabilities.

As part of the transaction, Ryan will acquire a majority stake in Dhruva Advisors, one of India’s fastest-growing tax advisory firms.

The Ryan Dhruva Advisors joint venture strengthens Ryan’s international presence across the Middle East and Asia. Ryan senior leaders will join Dhruva Advisors’ board, while Dhruva partners will acquire equity in Ryan to ensure long-term alignment of interests.

Dinesh Kanabar, Chairman and CEO of Dhruva Advisors, will assume the role of Vice Chairman at Ryan. Welcoming the development, Ryan Chairman and CEO G Brint Ryan said the investment underscores the company’s commitment to delivering comprehensive tax solutions in rapidly evolving markets.

Founded in 2014, Dhruva Advisors operates 11 offices across India, the Middle East, and Singapore. With 38 partners and 500 professionals, the firm has established itself as a trusted tax and regulatory advisory provider.
