Mumbai: RRoshani, a transformative initiative by the RR Kabel Foundation, has launched a comprehensive Skill Enhancement Program for underprivileged youth across Maharashtra, coinciding with International Electrician Day 2025.
This program underscores RRoshani’s mission to build a more inclusive and skilled workforce, particularly in the growing electrical and technical sectors.
The initiative will benefit youth aged 18–30 years from economically weaker sections, with family incomes under ₹6 lakh annually, and who have completed their SSC education.

The program will be rolled out in Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Solapur between June and September 2025.
“We believe that real change begins with opportunity,” said Kirti Kabra, Director at RR Global. “Through RRoshani, we aim to empower youth with the right skills and support they need to shape a brighter future for themselves and their families.”
Each participant will receive 300 hours of hands-on training over three months, delivered in partnership with leading training institutions – Kohinoor Technical Institute, FUEL (Friends Union for Energizing Lives), and Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC). The training covers both technical electrical skills and soft skills, ensuring holistic development.
To foster a sense of purpose and professionalism, RRoshani will also provide branded kits, including uniforms, study materials, and electrical toolkits, helping participants confidently transition into the workforce.

RRoshani to Bridge Social Economic Gaps
“RRoshani is not just a training program – it is a movement to bridge social and economic gaps by enabling skill-based livelihoods,” said a spokesperson for the RR Kabel Foundation.
By equipping youth with job-ready skills and providing placement assistance, RRoshani is poised to make a significant contribution to India’s development agenda, while also strengthening the country’s skilled labor ecosystem.
