Pune: NEXUS 2026, the annual cultural, social, and sports festival of MKSSS’s Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA), is scheduled to take place from 3 to 9 January 2026 at the BNCA campus.
Over the years, the festival has emerged as a key student-led platform celebrating creativity, collaboration, talent, and campus spirit.
The theme for NEXUS 2026, titled CINEVERSE, is inspired by cinematic universes and aims to transform the BNCA campus into an immersive cultural environment.
The theme will be reflected across events, installations, performances, and activities planned throughout the week-long festival.

NEXUS 2026 Flea Market ‘Cine Bazaar’ to Open to the Public
A major attraction of NEXUS 2026 will be the Flea Market, known as Cine Bazaar, scheduled for 7 January 2026.
Open to the public with an entry fee, the flea market will feature 40 stalls offering a wide range of products, including art and crafts, lifestyle items, accessories, food products, and student-led entrepreneurial ventures.
Designed as a vibrant social space, the flea market aims to encourage community participation, creativity, and cultural exchange.
NEXUS 2026 Academic Work Exhibition to Highlight Student Projects
Another key highlight of NEXUS 2026 is the Academic Work Exhibition showcasing projects by students of B.Arch, M.Arch, and B.Des programmes.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on 5 January 2026 by Prof Ar Abhay Purohit, President of the Council of Architecture, India.

It is expected to be visited by principals, faculty members, and students of architecture colleges from across the Pune region.
Sports Segment to Feature TORQUE Volleyball Tournament
As part of the sports segment of NEXUS 2026, BNCA will host TORQUE, an inter-college volleyball tournament scheduled from 3 to 5 January 2026.
The tournament will bring together teams from various institutions and aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit among students.
With a lineup that includes cultural evenings, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, sports events, and student-driven initiatives, NEXUS 2026 reflects BNCA’s continued emphasis on holistic education beyond academic learning.
