Sadhana Fellowship 2025-26

Pune-based non-profit Leadership for Equity (LFE), in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), has launched the Sadhana Fellowship 2025-26.

This six-month, practice-based fellowship aims to equip aspiring educators – especially from marginalized communities – with the skills, confidence, and classroom leadership needed to transform learning outcomes in schools.

Beginning September 2025, the Sadhana Fellowship will offer a blended learning experience with over 400 hours of classroom teaching, combined with expert-led training modules in pedagogy, English proficiency, digital tools, and essential soft skills.

The program is tailored for unemployed teaching graduates and professionals from non-teaching backgrounds seeking a meaningful transition into education.

A unique feature of the fellowship is its practice-first approach, where participants gain real-world teaching experience under the mentorship of seasoned educators.

Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, along with a joint certification from Leadership for Equity and TISS upon successful completion. Graduates of the program will also have access to job opportunities through LFE’s network of partner institutions.
