Kochi: The KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon concluded with five teams emerging as winners at the ‘Build for India’, India’s Largest Agentic AI Hackathon organised by Kerala Startup Mission at the Digital Hub in Kalamassery, Kochi.

The KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon witnessed participation from 62 shortlisted teams selected from 700 applications received from 17 states across the country.

At the KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon, the five winning teams – Zhacks, Lorial, Lares.AI, Caltek, and Team 420 – showcased a range of solutions including AI contact centres, verification tools, and industry monitoring systems developed during the competition.

The KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon provided a platform for innovators to demonstrate real-world applications of Agentic AI systems designed for autonomous functioning and decision-making with minimal human intervention.

In addition to financial support, each of the five winners of the KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon will receive post-hackathon incubation facilities, structured mentorship, opportunities to interact with industry leaders, and access to funding avenues facilitated through Kerala Startup Mission.

KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon: Enabling Startups to Scale Innovations

The KSUM Agentic AI Hackathon aimed to extend long-term support beyond the competition stage, enabling participating startups to scale their innovations.

The hackathon brought together around 250 participants, including AI developers, startup founders, researchers, and students. Teams comprising two to five members competed in the hackathon, building technological solutions across various focus areas.

These included autonomous task agents, job automation systems, and productivity enhancement tools – core pillars of the hackathon’s objective to advance Agentic AI adoption in India.

Organised at the Kochi Digital Hub in Kalamassery, the hackathon was inaugurated by KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika.

The event marked a significant gathering of talent from across India, reinforcing Kerala Startup Mission’s continued focus on deep-tech innovation and emerging AI capabilities.
