Through this initiative, students will evaluate early-stage startups, perform valuation exercises, and deliver evidence-backed investment recommendations to industry experts.

KJSIM already offers a diverse range of experiential learning modules such as capstone projects, social impact engagements, and research-driven theses.

The addition of NVIP enables students to step into the role of startup investors, applying theoretical concepts in real business scenarios under the guidance of faculty and alumni mentors.

Commenting on the launch, Dr Raman Ramachandran, Dean & Director of KJSIM, stated that management education must translate into hands-on action. He emphasised that the KJSIM New Venture Investment Project empowers students to work directly with startups, make strategic decisions, and understand investment processes through real-time engagement.

Echoing this sentiment, Gaurang Shetty, CEO of RiiDL, noted that the collaboration reinforces RiiDL’s mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. He highlighted that the programme prepares future leaders who understand both business fundamentals and disciplined investment methodologies.
