Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area (AURIC), Maharashtra’s flagship Greenfield Smart Industrial City, has approved new industrial land allotments that are set to bring in investments exceeding ₹200 crore and generate approximately 1,000 jobs.
The allotments were finalized during the latest Land Allotment Committee meeting, chaired by officials from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) and the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC).

Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area: Sector-Wise Approvals
The approved projects span multiple industries including specialty food ingredients, paper products, electronics manufacturing, road construction equipment, and alloy casting.
- Science for Society Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. has been allotted 37,388 sq.m. in Sector 12 with Mega Project status. The company will set up a specialty food ingredient plant involving a ₹104 crore investment and creating 325 jobs, featuring a zero-discharge facility to reduce environmental impact.
- Lonbest India Pvt. Ltd., also granted Mega Project status, secured 37,388.70 sq.m. in Sector 12 for an electronics manufacturing unit including chipset and PCB production. The project involves a ₹110 crore investment and will generate around 500 jobs.
- Su-Tantra Paper Products Pvt. Ltd., currently operating in Shendra with a turnover of ₹8–10 crore, has received an additional 370.79 sq.m. in Sector 5 for expansion.
- Alankar Engineering Equipments Pvt. Ltd., a road construction equipment manufacturer, has been allotted 7,378 sq.m. in Sector 5 for expansion with an investment of ₹17.50 crore.
- Varad Alloy Casting has secured 6,057 sq.m. in Sector 5 under the priority category for expansion to establish a new aluminium and die-casting foundry.

The government has been engaging with investors and stakeholders to enhance industrial growth in the Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area.
Recent visits by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia underscored efforts to strengthen the policy framework, resolve industry concerns, and boost investor confidence.
