Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), a Government of India initiative, has launched India’s first AI-Powered AVGC Course, designed to equip learners with industry-ready skills in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Live-Action content production.
The one-month program, titled Introduction to AI-Powered AVGC, will commence on September 26, 2025.
AI-Powered AVGC Course Bridges Creativity and Technology
The new AI-Powered AVGC Course aims to provide foundational knowledge and practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence applications across the creative industry.

Participants will explore AI integration in character animation, VFX workflows, immersive media, comics, and AI-generated assets for VR and live-action production.
Announcing the program, Vishwas Deoskar, CEO of IICT, said: “Though we already offer long-term programs in AI and creative technologies, the overwhelming demand and frequent queries from learners prompted us to introduce this short-term course. AI is no longer a future concept; it is actively reshaping how stories are told, games are designed, and visual effects are created. This course is about preparing the next generation of creators for the AI-driven future of media and entertainment.”
Course Structure and Certification
The AI-Powered AVGC Course has been structured for fresh graduates, AVGC students, and professionals looking to transition into the creative economy.
Over four weeks, learners will benefit from:
- Industry-led masterclasses by experts from leading studios.
- Hands-on sessions focused on AI workflows in animation, comics, and VFX.
- Practical exposure to AI-generated content for live-action and immersive experiences.
- Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification from IICT.

Flexible Learning Options
The program will be offered in two modes:
- On-campus (Mumbai): Three sessions per week (4 hours each) at a fee of ₹9,900.
- Online (Live sessions): Three sessions per week (2 hours each) at a fee of ₹4,900.
