Bengaluru: In a concerted effort to foster gender inclusivity in STEM, Quest Global, a global leader in product engineering services, has extended its partnership with IEEE India to strengthen two flagship CSR programs: the IEEE WIE Scholarship Program and the Returning Women Engineers Program (RWEP).
These initiatives aim to empower women students and professionals in engineering through education, mentorship, and career re-entry support.

Now in its third year, the IEEE WIE Scholarship Program has already benefited 790+ women students across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala, with plans to support an additional 200+ students, including those from underserved communities aspiring to pursue engineering after 12th grade.
IEEE WIE Scholarship Program Offers Financial Assistance
The IEEE WIE scholarship program offers financial assistance, technical training via IEEE’s Blended Learning Program, industry sessions, mentorship, and placement support, creating a robust ecosystem for young women entering the field.
Candidates with a minimum of 60% academic performance are eligible, with preference given to those from marginalized backgrounds. The program has successfully helped 100+ scholars secure employment, with ongoing support for remaining participants.
Supporting Career Comebacks Through RWEP
Complementing the scholarship initiative, the Returning Women Engineers Program (RWEP) is tailored to help women re-enter the workforce after career breaks.
Developed by IEEE India and funded by Quest Global, RWEP provides technical and soft skill training, resume building, interview coaching, and career mentorship – equipping women professionals with the tools needed for a successful transition back into engineering roles.
