Hydrogen 360: AICTE-ATAL Sponsored FDP Concludes Successfully at AIT Pune

Pune: The Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune successfully concluded its AICTE-ATAL Sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Hydrogen 360: “Unlocking the Potential of Sustainable Power,” held from 17–22 November 2025.

The national-level initiative, organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, brought together experts and participants from across India.

Hydrogen 360° Program Inaugurated by Senior Leadership

The Hydrogen 360° FDP was inaugurated by Major General K K Chakrabarty, Chairman of AIT, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The program was convened by Dr Umesh Awasarmol, with Dr J D Patil and Dr Laxmikant Jathar serving as coordinators.

Hydrogen 360° Sessions Featured Experts from Leading Institutions

The six-day Hydrogen 360° program hosted eminent speakers from industry, IITs, NITs, and distinguished research and academic institutions.

The sessions covered a wide range of hydrogen energy topics, including hydrogen production pathways, advanced storage techniques, regulatory frameworks, safety protocols, mobility applications, and next-generation hydrogen-based power solutions.

Hydrogen 360 FDP Drew National Participation

The FDP saw strong participation from faculty members, researchers, industry professionals, and postgraduate scholars representing various regions of the country.

The combination of expert lectures, interactive discussions, and evaluative sessions helped bridge the gap between academic concepts and practical implementation.
