The happiness index survey reveals that over 75 per cent of women report a heightened sense of happiness and confidence after integrating smart security systems, particularly smart home cameras, into their households.
The happiness index survey, released ahead of Mother’s Day 2025, focuses on the evolving security needs of Indian women and highlights how smart home cameras are emerging as a preferred safety solution—especially for working women who leave behind children or elderly family members during the day.
According to the happiness index survey:
- 94% of women consider security as a core component of their happiness
- 96% prefer tech-integrated security solutions
- 45% of women selected smart home cameras as their most trusted security measure
- 41% preferred home lockers (Tijori)
- 21% opted for video door phones
- 36% still rely on physical security guards
Smart home cameras stood out as the most effective system for enhancing confidence, with many respondents citing their importance in ensuring real-time surveillance and peace of mind while away from home.
Beyond security, the happiness index survey also examined broader contributors to happiness:
- 40% attribute happiness to family
- 14% to physical health
- 8% to emotional security
- 38% cite societal and personal development factors
