Bengaluru: The STEM Education Trust has announced that five students from Indian government schools will represent the country at the FIRST Global Challenge 2025, also known as the “Robotics Olympics,” to be held in Panama City from October 29 to November 1, 2025.

An inspiring flag-off ceremony hosted at REVA University marked the official send-off of Team India. During the event, the students demonstrated their robot built under the 2025 theme, “Eco Equilibrium,” which addresses environmental issues such as habitat restoration and biodiversity preservation.

The initiative is led by Gagan Goyal, General Partner at India Quotient and Co-Founder of the STEM Education Trust, which aims to democratize STEM learning and make robotics an educational equalizer.
