Ahilyanagar: Eaton India Foundation, the CSR arm of global intelligent power management company Eaton, has successfully launched the Eaton Jalsamruddhi Project in partnership with Krushi Vikas, delivering wide-reaching impact across the farming communities of Kharshinde and Kanasewadi villages in Maharashtra.

The Eaton Jalsamruddhi Project is focused on water conservation, sustainable agriculture, and rural empowerment. Over the course of six years, the initiative has:
- Treated 982 acres of agricultural land to improve soil and water resilience
- Constructed over 100 water storage structures, significantly boosting irrigation capabilities
- Introduced modern farming practices across 50+ acres through farmer training programs
- Conducted animal health camps and dairy training sessions, improving livestock health and farmer income

Eaton Jalsamruddhi Project: Catalyzing Impactful Change
Amit Naphade, CEO of Krushi Vikas, added, “Together with Eaton, we’ve helped conserve over 15 crore litres of water, seen a 200% increase in livestock, and enabled second cropping on 60% of local farmland, significantly enhancing quality of life in these villages.”
