New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched a nationwide competition inviting creative entries for the official Digital Connectivity Rating Logo, marking a key milestone in India’s journey toward smarter, more connected infrastructure.
The Digital Connectivity Rating Logo competition welcomes individuals aged 15 years and above to design an emblem representing India’s first-ever framework to rate buildings and public infrastructure based on their digital connectivity readiness.

TRAI Opens Entries for Digital Connectivity Rating Logo
The winning logo will become the official symbol for all Digital Connectivity Rating (DCR) certifications, communications, and awareness campaigns under the new Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024.
Digital Connectivity Rating Framework
Under this regulation, TRAI has introduced a structured framework to evaluate how well a property supports high-quality digital connectivity – encompassing mobile network strength, broadband infrastructure, and service quality.
Property managers and developers can obtain certification through TRAI-registered Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs), ensuring transparency and accountability across India’s growing digital infrastructure landscape.
Competition Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria
The competition is open until November 5, 2025, and welcomes submissions in JPG, PNG, or PDF formats (up to 5MB), with a maximum of two entries per participant. Entries must be emailed to digital-rating@trai.gov.in along with name, age, address, contact details, profession, and valid ID proof.
Shortlisted participants will later be asked to submit vector formats (.AI / .EPS / .SVG). The winning designer must agree to transfer full Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to TRAI.
Logos will be evaluated on originality, inclusivity, and relevance to DCR’s core values — trust, readiness, and accessibility. Designs must effectively represent various types of infrastructure such as residential buildings, highways, and public spaces, while maintaining aesthetic quality and scalability across print and digital media.
