CNH Delivers 117 Sugarcane Harvesters and 234 Tractors to Manjra Group

Pune: CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction equipment, has achieved a major milestone by completing its largest single delivery of sugarcane mechanization equipment in India.

The company delivered 117 Case IH sugarcane harvesters and 234 New Holland tractors to the Deshmukh (Manjra) Group, Maharashtra’s largest sugarcane harvester customer. The delivery was led by CNH CEO Gerritt Marx during his recent visit to India.

CNH pioneered the introduction of sugarcane harvesters in India and continues to lead the sector with sustainable and high-performance solutions. The new delivery aims to address labour shortages, boost productivity, and ensure timely harvesting – critical for strengthening India’s sugarcane industry.

CNH Sugarcane Harvester Milestone with Manjra Group

The Deshmukh (Manjra) Group, a leading agribusiness enterprise operating 10 sugar mills in India, has been a CNH customer for more than a decade. The group already owns 45 sugarcane harvesters and 90 tractors, making it the company’s largest customer in India.

On the delivery, Dheeraj Vilasrao Deshmukh, Director, Manjra Group, said, “We have been using CNH equipment for over a decade, and the consistent quality, safety, and reliability of their machines have earned our complete trust. With this new delivery, we are confident of further strengthening our operations and creating greater value for farmers and the sugarcane sector in Maharashtra.”

Advancing Mechanization and Farmer Empowerment

The advanced sugarcane harvesters and tractors not only improve efficiency and reduce crop losses but also promote youth employment through operator training and skill development programs.

These initiatives, run in collaboration with sugar mills, support a sustainable cultivation cycle from pre-sowing to post-harvest.
