Pune: The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) organized an Investment Awareness Program in Pune with the objective of educating students and faculty on financial literacy, the importance of safe investing, and the role of depositories in India’s securities market.
CDSL IPF’s Investment Awareness Program in Pune
The Investment Awareness Program was conducted at D Y Patil ASC, Akurdi, Pune, where participants were introduced to key concepts of the securities market, the significance of depositories, and methods to make informed investment decisions.

To ensure better understanding, sessions were held in Marathi and explained through relatable examples, making financial concepts accessible to the local audience.
Expanding Reach Through Investor Education
Highlighting its nationwide commitment, CDSL IPF regularly organizes Investment Awareness Programs across India in collaboration with SEBI, Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs), financial institutions, mutual funds, universities, and professional entities.
These initiatives aim to equip both existing and potential investors with the knowledge required to make informed financial choices.
During FY 2024-25, CDSL IPF successfully conducted 2,526 programs across 34 states and union territories, covering 513 districts and reaching over 1.47 lakh participants in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
