The CDISC 2025 AI Innovation Challenge, organized by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), acknowledges innovative applications that leverage AI and CDISC standards to solve pressing challenges in clinical research.
Zifo’s solutions streamline study design, improve data transparency, and ensure end-to-end traceability – vital components in accelerating drug development and regulatory compliance.

CDISC 2025 AI Innovation Challenge: Judges Praise Zifo’s Innovations in Clinical Research
In Use Case 1 (USDM), Zifo impressed the judges with its USDM-driven application integrating CDISC standards and Biomedical Concepts. The solution’s intuitive workflows, validation features, and traceability tools were highlighted as having strong potential to deliver significant value to the industry.
For Use Case 3 (Semantic Traceability), Zifo’s AI-powered solution unified multiple elements – from study protocols and CRFs to SDTM, ADaM, TLFs, Biomedical Concepts, and USDM – into an interactive lineage explorer.
Judges praised the ambitious scope and innovative use of standards, recognizing it as a transformative step for digital adoption in clinical research.

Zifo to Present at CDISC U.S. Interchange 2025
In its announcement, CDISC commended Zifo for submitting solutions across all three use cases and acknowledged the company’s runner-up recognition in both Use Case 1 and Use Case 3.
As part of the recognition, Zifo has been invited to present its AI solutions at the CDISC U.S. Interchange in Nashville on Monday, October 13, 2025, providing a global platform to showcase its innovative contributions.
