Pune: In a major step toward expanding global access to professional education, ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and the University of London have jointly launched a new BSc Hons Professional Accountancy programme, enabling students to earn both a professional qualification and an academic degree simultaneously.
This integrated course merges the globally recognized ACCA Qualification with the University of London’s BSc Hons in Professional Accountancy, allowing students to streamline their education journey.
Applications for the programme will open from December 2025, creating a seamless path for students who aim to join over 250,000 ACCA members worldwide across 180 countries.
Dual Advantage: Academic and Professional Credentials
Students enrolled in the ACCA Qualification can now opt to pursue their undergraduate degree alongside, eliminating the need to choose between academic advancement and career progression. The programme is designed to align with the ACCA Qualification’s structure, offering a coherent and flexible learning experience that supports individual career goals.
Just like the ACCA exams, the BSc (Hons) Professional Accountancy can be completed online from anywhere in the world. Learners will have the option to engage in supported online learning or, where available, attend face-to-face sessions at University of London’s global network of Recognised Teaching Centres.
